Photo Challenge: Crystal
I'm trying a new photo challenge, and this one is suggested by Steven at the (Sometimes) Photoblog. The theme is Crysal. I looked around the house and found some waterford crystal candle holders and tried a whole bunch of diffrent things, I ended up using the one where I put the two on top of each other. Here's some of the other entries.

Always, Carly :) http://journals.aol.com/ondinemonet/Ellipsis
I like the fullness of form you got by stacking them (looks like a clear flower!) and also the reflected light.- Karen

Really interesting, I was thinking you had used a mirror for a reflection. I'm going to add your entry to my list of those participating. :-)

Very 3 D effect and glowing.
I like your journal too, Derek. Such wonderful photos! It's clear how much you love your family.
Hi Derek,
I'm new to your journal and just stopped by to say hi. I noticed in your All About Me section, that you're in Jacksonville. I'm practically at Memorial Park everyday. It's one of my favourite places. You have a great journal and the Crystal picture is beautiful. I'll be back to visit. :)

Wow! I first glance I though this was a crystal rose. Great angle. Nice shot!
Nice effect! It has a sorta vintage look to it... looks different everytime I take a peek :)
Dawn
Very, very nice!
Oh cool! Are those candle holders? I don't think I've ever seen cut crystal ones like that before.
