I've heard of holding you nose when you go under so the water won't go up your nose.  Allison said if you put your finger in your mouth, no water will go in your mouth.

I know my sister's not getting tired of looking at all these wedding shots,hope everyone out there isn't as well.  I blurred the trees and made them a bit fluorescent.  I'm working on a scrapbook for her, hope i'm finished by Christmas.

Julie and Monday morning

The last night of "Into the West"  was tonight.   This show was wonderful.  It really touched me.  Can't believe it's Monday tomorrow already.  The weekend has flown by.   Here's a picture I took of Julie, she sits beside me at work. At least I'll have a friendly face too look forward to.

Autumn

Autumn was so serious during the wedding, she was very growny.  She wasn't smiling but I love this picture of her I took.

This one didn't come out as clear, I was pretty far back, I wonder what was going on inside of Little Ennis heart as he reached out to give his daughter away.  She was breathtaking as she exited this horse and buggy.

Sweet Mama and Sherry

I was instant messaging my mom tonight and  we were having memories of her mom.  She asked me to help her set up a online journal the next time I go home, I can't wait.  I hope she will enjoy it as much as I have.  I love this picture because it shows them both laughing and having fun instead of crying.

Sweet Gdireneoe's comments about a family of stars.  Thanks that was sweet, the Friday Photo challenge is Attractive.  http://www.photofriday.com/how.php Everyone has those this one person in their family that is the star I think.  Cais is the star in our family.  Caia is my first cousin also.  My dad's sister's daughter.  I got some great shots of her at Sherry's wedding.  She's always been beautiful to me, so beautiful is a form of attractive.  I remember when we were little and the shows she would do for me with a big piece of cardboard and things she would draw on it and the stories she would entertain me with.  Then she won Miss Atlanta and competed in Miss Georgia we all loved watching her.  Soon afterwards she headed for Hollywood where she still is.  She's our star.

In some of my other journals seems what I’ve been writing about lately is just feelings.  Carol Burnette’s singing feelings, Whoa, Whoa, Whoa, feeeeelings.  I look at this picture of Selena and me, and many feelings from childhood come back to me.  Selena was always pretty true to hers.   If she was mad, she showed it, if she was happy she showed it.  She was alive and we loved being around her when she was little.  I think she loved being around us as well.   Most of my memories are her with joining in on my adventures with my sisters, Sherry and Dena.   I remember her having muscles bigger than mine.  She’s still solid.  I remember our little funerals we had for birds in Nana’s back yard.  All the Firecrackers we’d set off on July 4th.   I remember her being attacked by a dog.   I knew how she felt because I'd been attacked by a dog also when I was little.  We both still loved animals even after the attacks.  She stayed with us a lot growing up and with my Nana because her parents were in Germany a lot in the Army.

Our family is dog people, my sister Sherry has had Maggie for many years, she's had Maggie over 10 years.   She's been part of the family for a long time.

Eli by the pond

When I was a little older than Eli i used to go swimming in this pond you see behind him.  My papa had a little tire where all the tadpoles grew into frogs.   Mama used to put alcohol and peroxide after I'd get through swimming.

Dena's glow

I was looking at this picture I took last year a few weeks before Ethan was born.  Dena has a glow all the time anyway.   But I thought this was good of her.   She was really glowing.

This is one of my favorite pictures of Ethan this past winter.  Dena and me had Autumn, Eli, and Ethan all bundled up so we could take them for a jog in her new jogging stroller for three.  He still looked a little cold in this picture.

This is one of my favorite's of Autumn when she was smaller.  She was outside running around, playing with rocks and just soaking up everything outside.  Looking at this makes me realize how much she's grown up!
