Horse

What are the most magical creatures on the planet, they've always been horses.  something wild but free about them, I love their eyes, almost like looking into a soul. I would love to go back before the white man came here and watch them roam free. Then I think of after we came and some of my ancestors, wonder what they thought of their horses, I mean I know they used them as labor, and transportation, but I wonder if they loved them.  Thought I'd dedicate this page to Mosie at, You can tell she loves her horse. http://journals.aol.com/mosie1944/MYCOUNTRYLIFE Preview

Thanks Derek!  I didn't even know this journal was here.  I always visit your other one.  I don't leave many comments either, but I do read most of your entries.

Wonderful pictures, Derek. I love horses too. Their eyes are like a deer's; trusting and deep. Hugs. *Barb*

I took some pictures of some horses I found the other day - the eyes have always captured me too.  I love these.

Love the white eyelashes. Beautiful pictures. I was born and raised in Kentucky around the horse farms. I didn't know just how beautiful they were until I moved away. I winter in the Arizona desert. Wild horses? we do have them, but their amounts dwindle down every year. Usually they come before dawn and you can feel the earth move and hear this sound. I have also seen them after a morning rain.  Anne (Saturday's Child)

You would swear that God put cosmetics on animals. Many of them look like they have eyeliner and/or natural cosmetics! Unfortunately, women have to try a little harder. Sighhh... PS... Would need a ladder to climb this horse. =.)
