Round Robin Challenge: My Hero

Mama is my hero!

My mom has always been so proud of me.  I always remember how she made me feel when I was little, I would bring home a picture I'd drawn in school.  These pictures were never really works of art, but she always gave them a place of honor and , thtat made me feel important and loved...  In anything I've ever done, she always let me know that she was proud of me and that's given me a confidence in myself that I carry with me whereever I go.  Her support and encouragement has meant more than she'll ever know.  I'm so grateful for her and all the love she's given me.    She wrote me in a card once that whereever I go or do or think, that I an depend on her for complete and absolute understanding, support and love forever.  She is my hero, I think back on the many times I was sick with asthma as a child and all the attention and time she spent with me and comforted me and gave me that unconditional love that I needed.  I have new respect for her, how she raised us all you would have to have the heart of a hero.   She does!

My mom is my hero because she was always there for me and always tucked me into bed every night and told me she loved me.  She was a great role model for mothers. She helped me with my schoolwork, how to deal with enemies, and how to not be lazy around the house.

One time, there was an enemy that was bothering me on the school bus, this girl was much older than me, and was disrespectful to teachers, others students, and me. Everyday, I had to tell my mom about all the things she did.  Then one day she got on the school bus with me.  She was a substitute teacher and this mean girl's ended up in the principal's office by the time we made it too school.  The girl actually tried to get bad and jump my mom.  I can't remember what the principal did to punish her, but I do know this girl never rode my bus again and never messed with me again.   She was known to jump on that school bus after school a few times, chasing it down, if anyone messed with  Sherry, Dena, or me.  This is another reason why she's my hero is because she was my first protector.  I also want to add two more heroes to Chris and Owen over at http://journals.aol.com/jeroldssis/ItsAllAboutMeIthink/ keep them in your prayers, he's looking much better.
