Autumn

I saw the ABC challenge over at Sunflowerkat321's journal.  I love all of her journals http://journals.aol.com/mskatdabrat/FromEveryAngle/   So here goes my first entry.  I guess I'm making up my own rules so since I'm starting today.  For the next few days until Saturday of next week, my pictures will be of A of course.  Who else to start off with but Autumn.

My sister Sherry

Did this picture of my sister Sherry yesterday, thought it looked pretty cool, I'm working on her Wedding Website, and am having a good time doing it.  I'm really looking forward to it, I'm going to do the photography with the help of some Mike and some friends.  Well it's lunch time I've got to go grab a bite.

Sherry's love is special
in oh so many ways
Now miles stretch between us
and minutes turn to days.
We've shared so much as children
the tears, the joys, the pain
A lifetime spent together
those memories remain.
In times gone by we've pondered
the paths our lives have taken
Knowing that in spite of this
our love unshaken.
My sister's love is special
in ways that are unspoken
Still that binding force exists
our love unbroken.
Well looks like one more year has passed by.

 

She sent me this the other day it was something I wrote for her like two years ago on her birthday, and she had saved it.

Got Milk?

Mommy,

Wow! What can I say

Not much  but if I could talk

here's what I'd say...

You sure have some tasty milk!!

In a bottle or right from the tree

it sure does my body good!

It sure is fun spending

my day with you!

I know when I cry

you will always be there!

I love you Mommy!

Eli and Teddy

I walked into Eli's room and he was playing with his tractor on his old toychest, with Teddy in arm, he doesn't go anywhere without Teddy.  Made me think of Dena when she was little, I had gone to 4-H camp and brought her back a teddy bear, she named him Stanley, she kept him for a long time, until she left him out in the rain, then Mama went searching everywhere for another Stanley, she found one too, that looked just like ole Stanley.  Eli loves his Teddy.

Little Red Riding Hood

Here's a picture I did of Autumn a couple years ago, was playing around with color, I'm new at this graphics stuff, but I'm trying.  Our little Red Riding Hood.

Sunrise

Sunrise is always a good start to the day.  Mine started a couple hours before the sunrise.  I took my morning jog at 5:30.  I enjoyed the brisk cold.  After my run, I showered and ran back to the beach to see the sunrise.  It was beautiful.  Calming, just what I needed today.
